My fascination with technology started as a kid, obsessed with computers and video games, driven by the thrill of discovery. That curiosity led me to software engineering, where I dove into a wide range of technologies across almost every area of computer science.
I became a software lead, even developing a computer vision model to help fight wildfires. My skills grew immensely, but a core passion felt missing. I was building powerful tools, but something deeper was calling.
During my time at CartoData, I worked with the government on projects with real users and tangible community impact. From user research and design to stakeholder management and final implementation, I found my true purpose: technology that's not just functional, but beautiful and deeply user-focused.
This led me to Human-Computer Interaction. With a global perspective from Mexico, Milan, and now Helsinki, and fluency in Spanish and English, I truly feel I belong here. It's where my lifelong passion, technical foundation, and empathetic values come together most profoundly. It's the work I want to do every day. For me, it's a joy to apply my empathy to understand users, to create with care, and to see my work genuinely improve lives.
